These are very sturdy tackle rigs. I would like to mention though that these are not the typical monofilament hybrid rigs. These are all metal and trusted wire construction.
This could be an issue in crystal clear waters. In less clear waters, they’re a great and reliable addition to my tackle.

Don’t use to try and catch anything bigger than 2-3 lbs. Snap clips will bend open and you’ll lose the hook and the fish. Happened to me 3 times yesterday fishing for redfish in the gulf of Mexico!! Vey low quality!

Can the snap swivel handle a 3-4oz weight?
Answer: I’ve used 1 to 4 oz weights and had no problem casting with them. So I will say yes they can handle that weight.
I’m fishing for rockfish off of channel islands with 2/0 round hooks which will sit only 2.7 inches away from this leader. is that long enough ?
