Smaller than I thought it would be , But the clasp is weather proof and corrosion resistant so I would buy again good price. , Update I have now used the towels and even with the short size they are actually better than the larger size as the do not get in the way and work when needed. I do recomend this item

Nice looking towel used as a bait towel. Worked well at cleaning off my hands. Clipped one to my shorts & one to the boat. Took off the clips and washed on gentle cycle, grommets fell off. Now unable to use clip to clip to my shorts or the boat. If you only want to use once this would be the bait towel for you.

What is the inside diameter of the gromet?
Answer: These were a gift to my grandson so I don??t have them here to measure. However, the inside diameter is very small- just large enough to get the clip through it.
