I like to fish, but I am not interested in touching the fish once they are caught. These gloves worked out pretty well for me – I would say that my hands are medium-size (women??s size) and the gloves were loose on me, but were not too big to work with. I was able to safely hold and de-hook a few fish with sharp spines and the gloves worked fine. The gloves stunk like fish after the initial use though, even after I scrubbed them with soap and hot water and then let them line-dry outside. I??m hoping that throwing them in the washing machine will get that fish stink out of them and then I will line-dry again – we shall see.

These are not unlike any nitrile dipped utility work gloves used common in most construction jobs, only thing though is that considering the price I could’ve got multiple pairs. Moreover, any level 5 food grade cutting gloves are going to be better for handling fish with potentially harmful fins like bluegill and other panfish.
