This tackle bag is nice looking, solidly made, compact yet offers ample room for tackle boxes and attachments, and a lot of attention was paid to details. After receiving it, I quickly fit two medium sized Plano tackle boxes into the two main compartments with ease, and I can probably fit another box into the outer most compartment if I want to. The two stripes can be zipped together to use the bag as a sling bag, which is important at tight fish spots where I cannot put the bag down. The bag is fitted with a ton of hanging buckles and hooks on all sides except the back, I did not quick count, and saw 17 D-shaped hanging hooks. So even though the bag is not huge, I can hang all kinds of accessories onto it if I want to.I was looking for a tackle bag that does not get into my way when I climb down a steep slope to get to my fishing spot, and I found it here. Two thumbs up!

The pack is small. it’s big enough to pop in a couple of plano 3600s in the large compartment, but that may as well be all the space it has. the other pockets are a bit inaccessible. they don’t open all the way or even enough to let you see whats in there. they have a pocket sewn in vertically in the smaller compartment, but the zipper opens only on the side. it’s sewn closed at the top so that the pocket wont fully open. so how are you suppose to get your hand in there to find anything? just dig around and hope for the best i guess. some of the straps seem to only serve an aesthetic purpose and nothing else. basically so it looks cool. if you want it just for the larger pocket it’ll work. but if you want easy access with additional storage, you need to look elsewhere. just some poor design choices.

Edit: while my thoughts on the bag have not changed, i have to say their customer service is top notch. they promptly contacted me in an effort to try to remedy my dissatisfaction with the product, and how they might address some changes to the bag in the future. nice to see a company stand behind their guarantee

Is the material made of 1000 denier?
Answer: not sure, but it is waterproof

Does the bag have a space to hold a water bladder?
Answer: I was able to insert a camelback water bladder in the padded pocket located on the inside face of the bag (side touching your back)…it carried the baldder nicely and there are plastic rings/buckles on the shoulder straps thru which you can run the water hose for easy drinking on the go.

How many 3600 (or is it 3700) utility boxes will standard bag hold? Will large bag hold more utility boxes than standard bag?
Answer: The standard bag can hold three utility boxes and it’s tight. Not sure about a larger bag.
