Life-Like Buck – 3D Deer Target With The Body Size Of A 200 Lb Buck. Stands 34″ At Shoulder Height, Overall Height 56″ With 150″ B&C Antlers

Top Positive Review

I’m shooting a Bear Agenda 6 @ 70lbs, roughly 335fps arrow speed, at 20yds.
Some cosmetic defects on the body that DON’T hinder the replaceable core. Nothing major, and it’s a target not a decoy, so I don’t care about blemishes.
CONS: -The way the plastic legs attach to the foam will most likely fail if unit is taken apart multiple times or with heavy movement from pulling arrows. (Will post up after another 200 arrows)
-replaceable core does not “lock in” from top, which allows it to move back approximately ?” when shot
-MINOR cosmetic imperfections on body of target (does NOT affect performance of unit)

Pros:
-Easy setup
-Symmetrical replaceable core that takes 100% of the punishment and none to the deer
-LARGE shootable areas on core
-4 faces on core to shoot
-Easy to replace core

148 arrows: After 120 heart/double lung shots, my arrows are poking 3″ out of backside in that area (pix 1), target still looks good, and no complete pass-throughs. Not sure how this will impact performance of opposite side. On this face of the replaceable core, there’s still plenty of room to shoot other areas (pix 2, 3). Even if opposing side is toast, I’ll still get a second face to shoot. The cores are comparably priced to others so not too worried, but I’ll report back when I cross that moat.

Top Critical Review

So! I ordered this a while ago and put it away until deer season was getting ready to start up. I opened it up and put it together, simple enough. It seemed to be super flimsy. I have taken maybe 20 shots and it??s falling apart. I tried to reach out to get a new one shipped or money back, but they said it??s outside the window of being ordered. No help.

Customer Questions & Answers

I shoot on concrete and pavement, will this stand on its own or do i need to buy the stand?
Answer: You need to buy the stand or you can build your own. The target only has two legs, not four so you need a stable base to put the anchor rods into.

Is this for field point or broadheads?
Answer: It’s for field points. We put our target in the shed when we aren’t using it, and they last us about 3 years.

Can it handle crossbows
Answer: I use it for crossbow as well as my bow. My daughters crossbow is pushing about 350 f/s and it handles it fine.

Does it come with a stand of some sort?
Answer: Yes with stakes but I would spend the extra to get the stand that is designed for it. It will be worth the time and money.
