This thing is surprisingly easy to use. Charge it. Put the SD card in. Turn it on and go. You can pick image quality which determines how much storage you chew up. Has a float which comes in handy when you??re scouting water. Excellent to watch after trolling to see how good you rig your baits and how the fish come in to grab you bait or inspect your spread

So my impression of this device was that I will be looking at my biat while the line is water. It turned out that camera does not transmit while underwater. No where on there website they reveal this fact. So then I decided to put the SD card and use the record video feature. After 20 mins of trolling I took the camera out of the water put the SD card in the computer and there was nothing. There was a “video” folder but it was empty.

will the camera affect the running depth of the lure while trolling? Will it make the lure run deeper or shallower than a line with out the camera?
Answer:

It depends on the lure and the type of fishing you’re doing. If you have a perpetual retrieve, like trolling or cast and retrieving, it would depend on the speed. For example, a lure that is designed to dive like a crankbait will bring the camera down with it to whatever depth that lure wishes to be at. A non-diving lu??

Would this work in Europe?
Answer: Probably not. There is no water or fish in Europe.

what is tthe recording time?
Answer: At 1080@60FPS you can expect 1-1.5hrs record time

At 1080@30FPS and 720@60FPS you can expect 1.5-2hrs record time

can you view instantly on your smartphone while using it?
