I was looking for a sleek, comfortable, lightweight yet durable fishing pack that I could take on my night and weekend trips with my husband. Unfortunately, there aren??t many decent colored, durable-looking ladies bags out there, and I??m glad I found this one! And also fortunately, black is one of my favorite colors!
I just got this pack today and started loading it up with some of my gear (1 3600 tackle box and a couple smaller ones, pliers, rod, knife, hooks & soft bait right now) and tested the rod holder on the side. I love that it has a zippered holder for a drink on the other side, so I don??t have to put it in with my tackle and bait. This thing has a lot of pockets and compartments on the inside (and y??all know how is ladies feel about having pockets!).
The pliers store well, behind the American flag patch (it came with the patch and it??s Velcro for when I wanna add more patches/move it around – which is a huge plus!), secured with a folding Velcro tab and hooked with a carabiner to the molle clip on the side. I thought it would be in the way when I want to get into the main compartment, but so far, no issues.
The strap is adjustable, for which side you want it to sling & tightness, and the shoulder pad makes it way more comfortable (it seems you can also unhook the lag off of the strap too, but I??m going to keep it on for now).
The bag really seems like it will hold up with freshwater use; the zippers are metal and the cloth is heavy duty.
All in all I??m really impressed with the quality of this bag. The style is great, very spacious, and it will help keep my hands free on rocky and sandy terrain (I have a fun tendency to drop things).
Will update if any issues arise, but I am extremely happy with this purchase! It will hopefully last me for years to come.

This backpack makes a day trip go smoothly– ample room for a 3600 tray, maybe 2, in the main pocket. Enough room in the larger front pocket for plenty of soft plastics, and the little pocket at the top is perfect for tools and leader lines.
There are 2 things I dislike, however–the “water bottle” side pouch, and the strap.
The water bottle side pouch is far too small for any decent water bottle. It would fit an ice mountain disposable and that’s about it. This should have been made significantly larger.
The strap is also in need of tweaks. The sliding “pad” us more of a nuisance than anything, would have been better sewed directly to the strap. I also cannot keep the adjustable part of the strap tight for the life of me. It loosens far too easily.
Fix these issues, and this is a phenomenal bargain fishing backpack. As is, it is only so-so.

Customer Questions & Answers
does this come with the lure boxes?
Answer: It does not come with the boxes only the bag. It??s absolutely worth every penny. It hold more than you can image.
Can I use this for like a range bag?
Answer: To small for a range bag.
Can the bottom of the bag hold an spare rod?
Answer: There is one rod holder on the side of the pack. This sits on the top or bottom when you wear the pack depending on which shoulder you sling the pack over. The rod will then stick out to the left or right at an angle
