How much does this target weigh?
Answer:
A ton… Spec sheet says 54 pounds… it feels like 75 because it’s so bulky. I built a frame out of electrical conduit and put wheels under mine. Its built kind of like a trash can cart. Now I can wheel it out of the garage when I want to use it. Its a great target. It will stop a 380fps arrow with ease and the arrows??
What size trash bag could cover this target? Freezing rain ruined my last one.
Answer: The target measures 29 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. You would have to use a 55-gallon trash bag or tarp it. Or you could bring it in a store it for the winter. The sun eventually eats everything up.
Could I use a 24# recurve on this and a 42# compound as well?
Answer: We have used arrows with field tips with 25, 30, 35, and 40 lb recurve bows with this bag. Compound versus recurve should not make a difference.
Is this waterproof ? Can it be left outside for good ?
Answer: Yes it is
