PLUSINNO Floating Fishing Net for Fly
Top Positive Review
I bought this to replace an old Rapala folding net which is showing its age, and it??s a worthwhile upgrade in several ways:
? One thing I really like is that the main hoop is much more rigid than my old net when fully opened ?C I always thought this was just a tradeoff for having a folding net, but this one is designed to be sturdy and strong when opened, and it??s still lighter overall.
? The handle is made of carbon fiber and fiberglass, like a fishing rod, and it looks sharp. It folds down much smaller than my old net, but the same size when fully extended, and I appreciate the versatility of being able to adjust its length based on my needs.
? I can??t tell you how many times I??ve fumbled with removing fishhooks that got snagged on my old net. This one has a finer mesh, and the rubber coating will make hooks much easier to deal with.
? And to top it off, it floats!
Extremely happy with this purchase.

UPDATE: I just received the replacement. It works good right now. I’ll update more after I use it handle fish.
I haven’t had chance to use it until yesterday. Then when I was trying to assemble/extend it to the full length, I found it’s defected (see in picture): the extended part should have been glued properly.
The red band should always be hidden under the extended tube, but now it came off, which makes the extended tube useless and easily fall down.
I still like the design of product so I asked for a return&replace. I’ll update after I get the replacement
Customer Questions & Answers
How does the handle feel?
Answer: Good
Does the net float in the water?
Answer: Yes, floating fishing net! Floats in water!
Can you expand it from a collapsed position with one hand?
Answer: Unfortunately no to extend the rod it is a twist lock and takes both hands to operate
How do I extend the pole?
Answer: Simply twist and extend, around eighteen inches to the base of the net,
Does the fishing net snag resistant?
Answer: Sometimes it seems it is and sometimes it’s miserable. If you’re using lures with single hooks its solid but say a spinner or stick bait with treble hooks it can get pretty nasty hooked up in the net. Overall I cared more about damaging the fishing skin and can deal with the snag ups every so often.
