I’m red/green colorblind (color deficient) and really struggle to track deer. This blood light really helps me see blood so I can track my own deer. Would highly recommend to anyone colorblind.

Last year, my nephew shot a nice buck about an hour before dark. We searched for the next several hours in the dark following a blood trail. We mainly used some nice LED flashlights and they worked okay. After we found the deer, I decided that I wanted to buy one of these blood tracking lights. I bought it the next day and couldn’t wait to use it. Well, that didn’t happen for almost a year. Yesterday I shot a nice buck in the evening and waited about 30 minutes to track it. it was dark out by then so I was exited to try out this flashlight. The deer went around 300 yards or so through really thick briers. I was quite disappointed that the flashlight didn’t brighten the blood trail at all. in fact, I could see the blood better using the same LED flashlight that I used last year. In my opinion, it’s not worth the money. use a $15 LED flashlight.

Will the flashlight detect blood in a dogs urine?
Answer: I doubt it, since it did not detect anything when my mom used it

Does this help in the daytime or only used for night time tracking?
Answer: I have never used it during the day but it certainly helps at night . My 10 year old granddaughter shot a buck with a bow and we used the bloodhunter to help find it . I like this product for what it is worth .

Can green light be used for blood tracking?
Answer: Yes, I can. It is perfect!

Is this a black light?
Answer: No. It??s a blood light.
