Great lightweight and waterproof boots. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the break-in. The boots cut right in the ankle where the material bends for your foots motion. The cut into your ankle is pretty bad and will wear a blister if you don’t fix it. I took a rubber mallet (as a previous customer suggested) and “loosened up” the material in that area (being mindful not to destroy the zipper). After about 15-20 whacks, the boot was loose enough in the ankle not to cut into me.
The boots are very waterproof and I tested them he first time worn.
The only other small complaint is that you have to both unzip and untie laces to get in or out of them. The zipper doesn’t save you from not un-tieing.
I have no doubt after another few miles they will be perfect.

I was looking for a comfortable pair of waterproof snake boots for hunting and these received great reviews before I purchased them. After the second day of deer hunting in the Florida Everglades I can tell you that these are definitely not waterproof. Never did I step in any water above the top of the boot. The highest was about 3/4 of the way up. After the second day of wear water was coming in through the zipper side at only about halfway up. As you can see in the video a lot came out. And that was back at camp not when I emptied them when I got off the trail. I??m greatly disappointed with these boots, especially because they are from a large name brand. Look elsewhere and don??t be afraid to spend some money on good boots. My feet were wet for three hours and it was miserable.

Answer: The width…. i.e., 10D… 10EE… I wear 10 1/2 4E…

Do they take a long time to break in?
Answer: Honestly, they really are comfortable out of the box. Most comfotable snake boots ive owned and very durable. As with any zippers (i dont trust so i use laces only) but no issues ever and good traction. Had mine. 3 years
