I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He has been using it weekly for archery practice and it has held up very well. It is worth the investment. It is also well loved by the neighboring bucks. This target doesn??t hold up well when a lot of pressure is applied to it but thankfully it??s easy to assemble. Ten out of ten would recommend to a friend.

Received on Thursday, waited until Saturday to open for my son??s birthday, only to find that the ears were broken off. I wasn??t going to say anything to the seller. Today when we got a chance to set it up, the key ways that hold the legs on broke off. The first arrow that hits it will knock it over. I contacted the seller and was told I would have to box it up and return it for a refund. I asked if pictures would suffice and was told ??no??. Item is too big and bulky for the hassle that would come with returning the item.

Do both sides look the same?
Answer: For the most part. The side showing in the picture is a little bigger in size but the vitals size are the same. I let mine sit in the sun a little to soften befor installing, real tight fit.

Can the rest of the body be shot without messing up an arrow or broad head?
Answer: Yes, you can shoot it any where in the body without damaging a arrow. I would not use broad heads very often to extend the life of target. Well worth the money. Love mine 3rd one I purchased.

Do you need to order a stand for this? OR does the deer stand up itself?
Answer: It comes with stakes that you put in the ground, tge target slides over the stakes. I only leave it up while shooting.

Was thinking could you use it as a deer decoy as well as for practice?
Answer: Can only be used as practice. Not realistic looking enough

do these targets have replaceable inserts? It looks like they do but I wasn’t sure. Thanks in advance

They do, I shoot everyday, around 180-200 arrows. I wore it out in 2 weeks. I don’t know how much you shoot, but this should help you calculate how long the insert should last for you. Also, the target body itself is pretty flimsy, I wouldn’t buy this again, but I’ll keep buying the inserts since I have it. Have a ??
