When I upgraded bows from a 2012 PSE Brute X to a 2019 Obsession FXL, I knew it was time to upgrade from my ancient, Cobra release as well. I went with the Tru-Fire Hardcore Max because 1) I wanted to move away from a caliper style release and 2) I really liked the idea of having the ability to change trigger tension and break points. Little did I know how much a lighter trigger would improve my shooting. I made the trigger as light as it will go, and now, I get a surprise release every time. Also, the fold-back design is a great feature that allows me to strap on the release before walking in to and climb my stand without dinging the release on anything. Great product in my opinion.

I love this release! But the attention that they put into detail is pathetic. The hook portion that holds the d loop was jagged and sharp and within three days cut through a brand new d loop. Very unhappy with the quality control process. The buckle is very comfortable and the release is smooth

will the hook damage the loop
Answer: I have shot tons of arrows with this release and my loop still looks good. Even if it damages them faster I still would buy another. Very comfy , reliable and nice to shoot with.
