Edit: I requested a replacement through Amazon. The new release seems to be working just fine, and I’ll be testing it more in the coming weeks. 4 stars due to some releases being faulty. Travel adjustment screw also works as intended on the replacing release.

Out of the box I noticed the trigger adjustment screw seemed a little too far out as there was a small gap in the jaws. I hooked to my d-loop and pulled back a few inches and the release gave way. I backed down the trigger adjustment screw and the jaws no longer had a small gap. I went to shoot a test arrow and the release gave way and prematurely fired sending my arrow flying. I couldn’t believe on my 1st draw that the release failed. I tightened the trigger screw down more and tested point blank at my target as to not lose another arrow. I was then able to shoot about 40 arrows without and issues at 60# after making another adjustment to the screw.

I will not buy or use TruFire releases anymore as I no longer have the peace of mind when pulling back my bow. I keep thinking the release is going to give way every time I draw. I went ahead and ordered a Spot Hogg Wiseguy Release.
